Default Big Brake Kit Question

Honestly, is there really that much of a difference in performance between 13" and 14" brakes that warrants the 14s being double the price? Same question about 2-6 pot calipers, as well.

It will shorten your breaking distance a considerable amount. Unless your gonna be auto-crossing the car then I wouldn't spend double the money to go to a 14 in rather than the 13in setup.

Default RE: Big Brake Kit Question

I have the 13" front and rear setup, and I have zero braking problems. I personally do not see the advantage to that extra inch of diameter. I would imagine that a 13" kit with bigger calipers would work well and probably not cost as much, but I've never felt the need to research it.

If I were to go with some truly unreal brakes, I'd get the SSBC kit with the 8 piston calipers.
