Convertible Top Damaged
Hey there,
I have a Convertible 91 Mustang GT5.0 and Its got a damaged convertible top. The vinyl top has a rip in it but that is the least of my problems. The other bigger problem is that the actual metal on the top, the metal that holds the top and folds when you lower or close the top has areas on it that are broke. I need some advice on getting this fixed. I talked to a shop that installs the vinly tops and they said i might be able to get the metal of the top welded together again but they said they cant guarantee it will work. I was wondering if anybody knows if the whole top itself including the metal that lowers and closes the top could be removed and replaced somehow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rich
