Does anyone know where I can get a differential for a 99 Cobra?

 

Junkyard? Their the same as the GT's

 

Being that the Cobra has IRS, will it "bolt" right in, or do you know if it requires any mods?

 

My bad dude, I forgot that the 99's had IRS - scratch that - but I do think an aftermarket 8.8 is a direct fit replacement but Im not sure of anything special is required other than simply a complete rear from a donor car. I dunno where you can get the differential alone, maybe a junkyard? For some reason Im thinking the differential in the IRS is the same as the one on the GT, just that the GT has axle tubes pressed on it. Sorry not being good help - good luck.
