I have a 99 Gt and for the past week when I first start my car in the morning the rpm's drop and the engine wants to die. As long as a rev it up for a while it ends up fine and starts perfectly for the rest of the day. One morning I couldn't get to go at all and it would just keep dying until it barely would crank. But, the next day, with a little revving it ran fine. I checked the connections and ever thing looks fine. Does anyone have any ideas of what is going on?

 

Clean or replace the IAC.(Idle Air Control)

 

My 85 GT acted like that till I cleaned the MAF with
spray carb cleaner.
