Default Throttle Body spacer

Any one using a throttle body spacer are they worth the money? I have a 95 v6 let me kno before i get one is the HP gain worth the $

Most people will tell you that it is not worth it, but for only 60 or so bucks, I wouldnt worry to much about being ripped off and just get it. It cant hurt right?

From what I see they normall add a couple hp and raise the powerband a couple hundred rpm

MD can you tell me why raising the powerband to higher rpms is a good thing? Wouldnt you want the powerband as soon as possible or is tehre more to it?

hp = torque x rpm (for the most part) ... so in a nutshell the more torque you have at higher rpms = more hp. Sometimes though this higher rpm power comes at the cost of reduced low end power, while this is good for max acceleration its a neg for normal driving.
