Default traction bars

i have traction bars on an old nine inch and was curious about the bump stop spacing between the spring and the rubber bumper. im thinking 3/8 on one side and 1/4 on the other? which side needs to be spaced out more? thanks

Wheel hop? Are you driving a 60's Mustang?

The right bar (passenger side)should be tighter than the left bar. Traction and power will determine the gaps, so it's something you'll have to experiment with. I made spacers for mine so I could control the snubber gap more accurately.

Wheel hop and leaf springs is definately weak springs and worn shocks.

Mopars had a great trick for that. Short front segment and healthy stack from the center forward.
