Default please help!!
my best friend has a 2002 V8 GT and his gear shift is currently stuck in park. the brake lights are not coming on, and i believe there is a safety switch that we can toggle or something but we are having trouble finding it . . . if that's even what would help. thanks so much for any help you can throw my way!! -eze

Check the fuses. The shift interlock is the culprit. Could also be a bad brake light switch!!
