Yeah, I would take tha Mach 1 just because it looks cool lookin'. Plus not too many people have a Mach 1 so u would stand out from the rest of us. lol

 

cobra if u wanna hit 11's for 100 dollars and mach if u wanna look cool and sound good but not be as fast as a cobra, although the mach is no slouch stock u can hit 12's with them things.

 

Well there is a price diff between the Mach1 and a terminator... Depending on your deal you could see about 4-6k diff and that going into the Mach1 would bring it into thehigh 10 low 11second range on a stock bottom end, heads and cams, of course that is if you can live with 4.56 gears... MM&FF did an ultimate NA 4V shootout a couple months ago and that seemed to be the standard, high 10's low 11's with most everything stock except all the bolt ons they could throw at it with those 4.56 gears, without those gears people fell into the mid 12's

But then again some people dont want to mod the crap out of their cars and personally I love how smooth the 6 speeds in the Cobra's feel. When I first started driving an 04' I kept starting off in 2nd because I was unfamiliar with the gear pattern and it still was perfect, 1st was perfect too, absolutly smooth and possitive shifts

Dont let someone sell you the car either, get the one that feels right to you.

I don't think you can get the production number for new Mach 1's. www.mach1registry.org has all the info on the Machs. They claim it is not possible to get the number. I have called ford and they said that it wasn't an SVT vehicle so they didn't number them.the build date you can find on the sticker on the driver door jam. My Uncle owns one that we think is one of the last cause they closed the plant in April and his was built in April. So we have searched High and Low for a number but haven't been able to get it.
