Engine sits in nicely...just have to square everything up and fab the moter mounts...tranny mount lines up...unbeleivable!!!...just have to widen the holes in the crossmember....

oh...that ain't the block i'm gona use...just that its ligher than the "all dressed version". Just needed to to bolt the tranny up and get dimensions....

Ok I must have missed your earlier post(s). What engine/tranny is it that your using for the swap?

 

The tranny in the pic is what is actually going to go in (after it is cleaned of course). The block is just there to help line up the engine mounts...Once it is set up i will pull it and put the real complete engine in it place

 

So what are we missing?

I was gonna guess that because of how the water pump bolts on but I didn't want to look like an idiot. I'm not good at recognizing bare blocks buy different OEM's

 

I'm supprised nobody picked up on it quicker...also suprised i haven't been flamed yet for attempting it...hehe...alllthough others that post on this board have already done it.

 

Ok umm,, is that 5.7L a 351 Ford or 350 Chev?

 

so wait ur puttin a 350 in the stang? or a 5.8L 351?
