Default My Future Mods - Opinions, Comments

Thanks for reading this, I could use some input and figure maybe some other people could get some ideas. I've divided my plans into several stages.... I figured if I do it that way, I can spend a good amount of time doing research and figuring out the best prices...etc for the mods. I've listed the best prices I've seen for some of the items. I should be able to pull off stage 1 by the spring.

Stage 1:
($92.15 shipped) 9mm Wires (Red) from Ford racing. M-12259-R462
($87.95 shipped) Denso Plugs IT16 or IT20
($149.95 shipped) Steeda underdrive pulleys. 701-0003
($473.81 shipped) Bassani X-pipe with cats 46993
($585.72 shipped) Bassani Optimum Length Headers 4602VC (ceramic)
Total cost: $1389.58

Stage 2:
Lightweight hood
Battery Relocation (trunk - Passenger side)
Tubular K-Member, A-Arms
Steeda Ultra-Light II wheels

Stage 3:
75mm Throttle Body
($119.00) 4.10 Gears
High performance Clutch & Fly wheel
($99.95)Steeda Clutch Adjuster kit 555-7041
(795.00)Superchips Custom Tuning Pro Racer Package

Stage 4:
HD Suspension components
Forged Pistons/Connecting Rods
Port/Polished heads
SC Pulley (12-14 PSI)

Stage 5:
Nitrous?

ditch the wires and plugs and get the gears now (3.73's though not 4.10's - not with that supercharger)... you already have a lightweight hood too .. sounds like you've got a nice car, got any pics?

I say you get neon wiper fluid nozzle lights and a big asian symbol on the back[sm=noooo.gif][sm=badidea.gif]! HAHA. Im with MD, you dont need plugs/wires. Stick with stuff thats going to give you the best bang for your buck. Id get U/D pullys, exhaust, and gears first.

already have kenny bell subframe connectors
also have new lower control arms, shocks and struts... dont know the brands of them though.
I want to get that superchips package when I get the gears so I can flash or burn the new ratio in that day. ( Still wondering if I get the version with a flasher or the one with a four position chip /chip burner? (extra chips are $200 each) ).
I'll seriously consider the suggestion to get gears first, however, I just dont know if 3.73s are gonna be enough. I have a Dyno (before cat back, w\air silencer) was 327rwhp/340rwtq, currently the screw type series IV supercharger is at 8psi/5000 rpms, 9.5psi/6000. The car has some kick but md, aren't you the one that said anything less than 4.10 was a waste of money?

i agree w/ MD. get the gears. and full exhaust. and the adj clutch . its up to you with the gears. with a s/c on there, 4.10's might make you haze 'em too easily if you race it. 3.73's would be low enough, where it gave you acceleration, yet, might not make you light 'em up as easy. and get the tb too. so, gears, full exhaust, get your control arms and shocks/struts slapped on, and youll be ready to rock n roll !!!!

a twin screw S/C with 4.10s could be bad for traction off the line
