Default Best suspension for traction

2000 GT

1: What do coil overs do that springs don't? Are they better? How do they work?

2: Are drag struts a good improvement on traction? Are they better than springs?

3: For what it's worth, should I just get a set of Steeda's SuperLite Drag Race Springs, best bang for the buck?

(didn't place this in the suspension forum because this is where everyone looks first)

Default RE: Best suspension for traction

answers

1: they are basically the same. coilovers just get rid of the big spring and the a-arms. i would only get them if you are looking into changing out your k-member.

2: struts are a very good improvment. they help with the weight transfer. springs and struts work together. you have to have both...

3: i think you should do some more research and see what you should get. i would not get steeda's setup. i would go with something from www.uprproducts.com etc....
