alrighty then, the last code i got when i check my car (obd 2) was a p1120 which is Throttle Position Sensor out of range. How do I fix that?

Alos, I had a code of P1130 or 31 (i forget)that means the fuel was to lean. But i think that came from the throttle body sensot not being correct.

 

clear your codes and see if it comes back..might have just been a temporary glitch.

 

i wouldn't think so. cause at times when i press on the gas pedal, the car don't want to take off like it should. it drags out.

 

Try replacing the TPS there pretty cheap at any Auto-parts store.

 

yeah, that's what im gonna do tommorrow when the part comes in. the o2 sensor code keeps poppin' up whenever the check engine lights up. so, being that i change out both o2 sensors, it has to be the tps not lettig the right amount of fuel out. so, im gonna change that.

i remember a year ago, i wsh my engine and the tps got wet, i got the same code when i took it to advance auto parts. a o2 sensor code. well, i took it to ford and they said naw it was the tps not workin right. and that was the problem.
