I read an article about SLP exhaust where they show an auto 97 GT picking up 22 hp and 13 lb-ft with LT, catted x pipe and loud mouth and doing 14.5 @ 93 mph. They also have an 03 GT picking up 30 hp and 23 lb-ft. Thats pretty good for slushboxes.

The 97GT knocked a full second off it's 1/4 mile time w/ SLP LT's, Catted X-pipe, and loudmouth catback...

SLP caters to Fbodies. I dont know why anyone would wanna buy their parts for a Stang. Thats like a Camero buying parts from Steeda or Roush! LOL

Yes I realize this... BUT like I was saying... they are in the business of modding FBODIES! I wouldnt buy from them. [:'(] Just not the research effort put into their mustang parts as Steeda and other name brands put into their parts. Just my opinion.

I see what you're saying. But my problem right now is that they are the only ones making LT for auto GT's, not counting MAC's.

I have the MAC headers and they still look brand new.

Would you choose MAC over SLP. SLP are ss MAC's aren't.

But, SLP makes a direct bolt in line lock kit that is real nice for the 99+ GT's.

I think they are the only one that makes it.
