Default Sub-frame connectors

What will subframe connectors do for the ride quality of my stock 96 GT vert?

TIA,

Ride quality over bumps won't change.Subframe connectors will help with tightening up the feel of the car going around corners though. The difference won't be a big one but it is noticeable. They also help quiet some of the squeaks and rattles.

I did sub-frame connectors, Tokico shocks & struts, and new springs. I noticed alot lessbody rollwhen taking hard corners.

If you plan on modding your car to a serious level, you want the subframes...... One of the first things I did!

I'm 99% sure subframe connectors improved my ride. The car does a lot less "bouncing" over bumps, instead of the body flexing over bumps in the road it feels like the suspension takes the bumps a lot better.

I upgraded the suspension on my '88 LX 5.0 Conv. in this order:

Strut Brace
Struts & Ford Racing C Springs
Subframe Connectors

The subframes made a difference with the twist in the car, however, the biggest change was the strut brace. My wife even said something about how tight it felt and less rattles after installing it. And you know, if your wife can tell a difference, then it was pretty substantial.

The struts and springs helped with ride height and body roll.

Every time I mod a car, I can always see the difference, but my wife just usually rolls her eyes and asks how much I owe on the credit card and what that cute UPS guys name is!!

Do you think the body twists and bendsthat much that frombumps in the road.I can see a full cage stiffening up the unibody buta pair of bars that connect the front to rear subframe offers little in torsional strength.

Kmobrien. What exactly are you trying to accomplish. I read ride quality. Are you trying to soften it up?

I know when I hit bumps I dread it...I'm tired of the chassis flex that is familiar with vert's...

Thoughts??
