i just wanted to say that this shift light is the greatest... it was easy to install and only took 20 minutes to do. the directions are very simple to follow, a child could do it(not really, but you know what i mean).. you don't need a tack adapter, its small, and its bright as hell. for all of you that don't like the big tacky looking tach/shiftlight, this is perfect...

this will probably sound dumb - but what is a 'shift light'

 

A big light that says hey bonehead... "you've reached the rev number you told me you wanted me to remind you to shift at"... by turning on some lights for you to see...

 

in simple word,it lets you know when to shift[:-]

i think it would be cool if they made one that said screamed at you when you had to shift...

 

is it small enough to mount in the gauge cluster area????

 

They sell a larger stand alone shift light in jegs for about half the money, but I've got to admit I like the small size of this one.

 

I thought about gettin one... its more accurate then usin the tach

 

This is interesting....i was going to get a shift light with a tach adapter.

So if there is no adapter how does this one hook up?
