Default screen on the CAI

When i replaced the stock intake with the K&N FIPK it didn't allow for the screen...I read on the forums that without it the turbulance messes up the MAF...and make it run lean at higher RPM's...is this a prob, or nothing to worry about? looks like the intake that C&L makes might accept the screen...was thinking about selling the FIPK and getting the whole package from C&L (inlet pipe w/filter and housing, 85MAF, accufab 75 tb, and C&L inlet plenum). opinions???

Do whatever it takes, but leave the screen in.

MD, is the K&N FIPK a straight shot?? it doesn't bend down the fender...I don't know that i can get a Pro-M 85mm MAF on it though...should I just sell it and get the set up i talked about when i started this thread?
