I'm new to the mustang world as you know..but do people ever do a 5.0 swap in a SN95 style Mustang <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0">

I saw one on the highway today with a GT badge but with 5.0 badged under it. Wonder if this guy is BS'ing or he could've done a swap...

Well if the mustang you saw was a 94 or 95 model then hes not BS'ing cause those were the last years for the 5.0's, and they were SN95 bodies.<edited><editID>Superbeast</editID><editDate>37838.8977083333</editDate></edited>

If it was a '94-'95 they came with a 5.0 in them, they didnt switch to the 4.6 'till '96</P>

yep....the 94/95 stangs had mustang written under the GT, the 4.6's say 4.6L of course. but you can get nice big 5.0 badges for em.</P>

according to mustang monthly, the fox's (5.0 HO) made 225, but i would not put money on that though.......

94/95 gt's only made 200 hp. 96/97 210 and the 98's 215.

Saw an idiot in a black 96-98 stang driving down the highway with an old fox 5.0 badge on the side.
