Hello.
I replaced my oem fuel pump today due to the fact that is was starting to make a loud whining sound...like a bearing going bad! I replaced it with a Carter oem "style" pump that looked fine, and very similar. Now that it is installed, it works fine, but is very loud. Not a whine, just a motor type sound. Is this normal? Do all aftermarket pumps make this much noise? It doesn't bother me...unless the noise is indicative of a problem!
