Default Off-Track Window

I was putting my driver side window up on my 01 stang when all of a sudden it stopped going up halfway and then a second later shot up. It's stuck halfway falling out of my door panel. I can't close the door because it's sticking up above the roof and have yet to tear the door apart to look at the mechanisms. Any suggestions on what I should do since I haven't really had to mess with power windows before.

Default RE: Off-Track Window

this happened to me lots on my 85 with power windows....i would have to roll the window back down and then hold and put pressure on the top edge as it was rollling back up...this would guide it back onto the track..as long as i did not roll it all the way down it would be usually be ok.

at ford..quality ain't job one....
