biggest negative is you can go too far advanced and cause predetonation or pinging which can damage the engine. it will also cause harder starts and possible overheating problems but usually most don't go too far and have these problems. once you get the Predator, it advances the timing internally all the time and you will most likely have to set the base timing back to stock after you install it to prevent pinging and damage. and premium gas ain't cheap nowadays either. LOL
Yeah i'll have to run premium...gass prices SUCK!!!...i've read that the predator will not let you over adjust the timing though...so I won't have to worry about over doin it will I?
