Tranny oil leak @ the tailshaft
I got a fairly ugly fluid leak @ the tailshaft. I'll leave a couple drops everywhere I park now.
I'm having it looked at tomorrow at 9, I really don't have any clue how hard it would be to have this fixed, I figured I'd wait until my clutch ever went (it's new anyways) but figured I would wait it out and do it all at once. I don't have a problem with watching fluid levels and filling it up if it's going to be a $500 or $600 repair, anyone got any idea to what it might cost in labor..

I forgot they have a puller and driver. Eh, I think I can rent one for the guy somewhere rather cheap, he mentioned "knocking it out" would be hard and could take up some time. [8D]

I agree with the newbie! should be piece of cake for you Dan. hot tip, use a small drill bit to make a 1/8" diameter hole in the metal band of the seal, then insert a large self tapping screw well into the hole. grab hold with some vice grips and pull hard and the seal will come right out.
