I put on a magnaflow cat back about a 2 months ago...last week i hear a banging from the right rear...at first i thought the exhaust loosened up so i tightened everything (like 3 times) and the rear still made a banging noise...so i brought it in to ford because it is under warranty...they called me with the estimate that it would be 160$ to fix because "whoever" put on the exhaust they did not put the bolt back on to the control arm...they said it was an after market add on so i would have to pay out of pocket...so i drove to the dealer and had them explain to me in person...then i calmly showed the service manager and the mechanic that the control arm has nothing to do with the exhaust...they were like oh your right sir we will take care of it...no charge...i was like no ****ing **** you will take care of it...the bolt on the control arm wasnt even there and they tried to screw me and make me pay money for no damn reason...what kind of a mechanic doesnt know that the control arm has nothing to do with the exhaust...luckily im smarter than those swindlers

i hate the ford dealerships. They always try to screw people out of money. Joe took his car there once and will NEVER do it again.

ya i have a shop that i take myne to...ma dad has been using it for years there pretty good

maybe try to find a good reliable shop that will take care of u

find a good shop. i have 2 i regularly go to for various stuff. all my performance i buy at dugan racing and my tuning is done at a private speed shop

the only reason i brought it there was because it is under warranty...i do know some shops but my father and i usually do all of the work on our own....if it cant be done by us then we would bring it to a friend...i just figured since its under warranty what the hell

I dislike the dealerships, as well. -Especially since my local ford dealership recently totalled my S281E Saleen.
