Probably Syncros, what year car/what tranny.

 

Check out the TSBs on this site about our TR-3650 trans. The synchros like to go out and cause gear crunch. If your under warranty get it fixed. If not, make Ford fix it anyway, theres peeps on here who have gotten them to do it out of warranty
