After that if your a decent driver I'd say youd be in 13's easy. especially with some drag radials...but id say you should convert over to mass air now...cause i think the 86 was still speed density...and mass air will make things alot easier down the road.

Yeah you're right on with the speed density, unless you want to run with a completely stand alone and tuneable from a laptaop fuel injection system, like F.A.S.T., then you need to convert to mass air, get different pistons cuase 86's are flat tops so you can get heads, cam, intake, injectors, etc. But if you can't get different pistons cause of $$ then upgrade the entire exhaust, ie headers, o/r h or x pipe, sweet flowing cat back exhaust aero chamber, flowmasters, etc... get a cold air intake, take out your A/C, EGR system, Smog pump system. Then you can lighten things up a bit by getting a tubular K-member, tubular a-arms, etc...get some DRs and you'll be set to hit thriteens. My goal is next summer to be able to get into the 13s without gutting interior and with the 140k motor by lightening up the chassis, and setting my suspension up right all while handling excellent. Then down the road, I plan on building a turbo set up which will involve a T-56 to handle it...which is way down the road, but for 13s...

Cheapest way to see 13's is n2o

Or if you want to do it without the bottle, try the following:
26x10.5x15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets
4.10 Gears
Steeda Tri-Ax Short Throw Shifter
Full Length Sub-Frame Connectors

And removing the passenger seat, rear seat, spare tire, jack would help too...

Hey Ob do you change your rear wheel & tires to a 15" and DR or just run a lower pressure on the Cobras?
