i have a 94 gt convertible, and both of the rear 1/4 windows are messed up. they will go down fine, but they wont come up at all. you cant even pull them up. am i going to have to replace the motors on both of these windows?? or i have heard people mention getting a motor rebuild kit for really cheap and doing it that way. anyone know anything about this situation??

 

Mine are the same way, the motors are fine, but the plastic gears are trash. I have been able to get mine up by operating the motor and pulling up on the window at the same time. They do have a rebuild kit, but I dont know where to get it.

 

i tried having someone pull them up while i pressed the button but that still didnt work, they would go up just a little and then fall back down to where they were. it really sucks because its raining here right now and a plastic bag over the hole looks pretty stupid.
