Default 351 safe bore

Well I just took a trip to the autowrecker today, and found they had a 96 Ford van with a 351 in it (94+ has roller cam and lifters, that's why I chose that one)... two hours later and $100 shorter, i had a 351 in the back of my truck.

Long story short, dumpin my 302, and want to make a 427 stroker, issue being, I'm just assuming that to make it a 427, you'd haveto .060 over, is that going to be safe for a N/A street car? What's the recommended maximum bore fora 351?

Thanks!

030 is generally the largest you want to go. The 408 is a more popular stroker.

incorrect a 427w only requires 30 over ...however if you are planning on making a lot of power that block is insufficient
