i am currently installing a manual transmission on my 2000 mustang, as u know the shifter comes right up from the trans. i got a shifter boot not can i use the plates from the auto tranny and the center concul cover to go over the shifter boot. in other words what goes over the boot, and is the plastic part the would go over it the same for auto and manual?
