That could explain one of them, but the other is definately a '98 GT. I asked the guy. He did say "I just like they way the cobra emblems look". It also has vinyl lettering on the front saying "MUSTANG" in case you didn't realize.

 

Yeah no kidding. But the V6 was slow and it did sound weak and my GT does sounds nice and is fast(ish) stock so thats the main reason why they wont let me with the GT...

 

boss is the older mustang as in the 1969 302 boss....it was a nice car...my uncle had one...

 

maybe hes in the middle of a GT- cobra conversion??? thats my only idea of why sumone would do that

 

The 1999 Cobra also said MUSTANG on the rear bumper. It was 2001 that they made the change to COBRA on the rear bumper.

 

well the 96-98 say cobra on the rear bumper, and this car had a cowl hood not the cobra hood, but if it is a BOSS then why does it have the snakes on it? unless its a rebadge of course
