New project and need help!
Im looking to get a 94 mustang from one of my friends and i plan on buying a 302ci crate motor right off the bat. I can work on them pretty good just this is my first mustang project. i plan on using the 302ci with a tremec 5 spd... now when i buy the motor im getting it from jegs is it carb. or FI? also does it come with wiring harness or do i need to buy one? any books or manuals on mustangs for projects like what im trying to do? also does it matter what body i use can i use a v6 for example or would it be better to use a gt body? any help is appreciated... thank you

RE: New project and need help!
Its better to start off with a GT as all the wiring and such will already be setup. As for your motor, the crate motors usually dont come with an intake at all. And if they do its usually for a carb. Personally, Id just go to a junkyard and find a roller 302 and build it my own way. That way you can use better parts for the same or even less money than a crate motor.

PS: You can use a v-6, theyre all relatively the same. Its just the wiring and suspension will need work off the bat.

thanks... you kno of any manuals for doing motor swaps and everything? i plan on doing the whole car completely suspension, brakes, motor, tranny, drivetrain, and supercharging. any good manuals out there? so the best choice would to go to a junkyard and find a 5.0 motorand rebuild it myself?
