does anybody know if there is something wrong with wiring a fan so that it is always on? as in just straight to the battery and the ignition switch so that it will always run when ever the key is in the on position. will it draw too much current? anyone with any useful information on how best to wire an electric fan on a 5.0 please help me out. thanks

 

I would buy a 12 volt relay.
Hook it to the battery and the fan.
The control lead goes to the ignition
switch.
