Protective Shield?

Is there any type of shield or guard I can install under the engine to keep debris/rain/misc stuff out of the engine bay? I've had my GT/CS for 2 weeks and the engine needs to be detailed already.

I've never seen one.. A shield of any kind would also block airflow to the engine as well

I thought of that. I assume it would be slottted. My other cars them which is why I asked. I was just hoping someone here would have come across something.
