Need an EFI tech!
I'm need some help from someone experienced at trouble shooting EEC-IV systems. Some time ago I swopped a EEC-IV system in to my '85 Mustang GT convertible and have never been able to work-out all the bugs.
The car starts and runs but exhibits all kinds of drivability issues including a wandering idle and difficult warm engine starting. It will almost always show a check engine light after running for a short period of time.
When performing a KOEO test the following codes are indicated: 67, 85, 22, 34, 51, 53, 54
All the sensors, switches and actuators that are producing fault codes check-out O.k (with the exception of the cannister purge solenoid). The EEC-IV computer is from the Ford Cobra mass air conversion kit (includes mass air meter & 24 lb injectors). The main wire harness was sourced from a Mustang specialist junk yard. I requested a harness from a '91 model to match the engine harness, but who knows what they actually sent me?
I suspect a problem with the main wire harness but would like to solicit a second opinion before removing it. Pulling that damn dashboard back apart in order to remove the harness is my worst nightmare! Someone Please Help!!!

Tuning the computer for all of those codes is the job of a professional IMO. If you do manage to work out all the kinks, then let us know what happened. Hope someone else here can help you out with this...
Im not exactly sure what all those codes are i would have to look at one of the many maunals i have. But im sure youre gonna get some codes just because its not whats supposed to be in there. carb - FI. Im guessing you got an engine out of a 91 5.0. And then got the tire harness to match. I'll look into those codes. But if someone else beats me to it i can help you then too.

He is the MASTER of codes and how to fix them!
since i've been fighting with mine......
67 is either neutral drive switch or a/c clutch switch
85 is too much fuel or cannister purge
22 map sensor out of range........bingo there is your problem
34 evp out of range
51 coolant sensor bad
53 tps out of range
54 air charge temp sensor out of range.
i think you need to double check that mass air meter you got.
i hope this helped.
