Sunroof?
When my 96GT got hit, I got it back looking 100 times better than before. It just pissed me off knowing it had been hit. Like yall said, everything lined up better but, I didnt get as much out of it. If its been hit and the insurance deals with it, people are gonna find out if they know how and, its pretty easy to find out. I was just truthful about it, I couldnt have sold it without telling them about it anyway.

AFTERMARKET SUNROOF = BBAAAADDDD
Like Md said, youll have some honkey crack head on your roof with a drill and a sawzall. I wouldnt even cut the fender flares off of my old 95 Jeep Wrangler, much less cut the roof of a Mustang out. If you want that open air feeling, just go buy a convertable!

Honestly MD, the amount of repair work you had done as a result of that last accident isn't enough to make me think twice about it. It was really just bumped and it was repaired with a new fender. Something as minor as that, I really wouldn't worry about. I've had cars that were backed into, or bumped like that. No big deal. You're right though. Two identical cars...One with no paint work. Thats the one I'm taking.
I can't imagine the sunroof hurting the resale value if it's done right. Lots of people like sunroofs.

Well, my '03 GT has a sunroof that was on it at the dealership. People tell me that my year GT would have never come from the factory like that. Morale of the story? Try some Ford dealerships. Mine is a very clean install, motorized and sure as hell had me fooled that it was factory.
