hi guys, im new to this forum, but anywho, im looking into buying a 2002 Black GT with75k miles and minor mods, like pullies, flows, chip,or a 1998 Red Vortec Supercharged Cobra with 95k miles on it about 420 RWHP, I'm confused with which one should I go with? any suggestions?both are about the same price, but i need a quick reply because im planning to do it this week, thanks for your help

supercharged cobra. does the cobra have a built bottom end? if not u may wanna say no cause 420 wheel is about all it will take. jmo

not that i know of, im gonna go check it out today...he told me the supercharger was put on about 65k miles.

id go for the gt...have the fun of having a fast car is being able to say you made it that way...a gt has enough get up and go for starters...plus it look sbetter....so then save up and supercharge it....jmo...plus i dont really like the sn95...but its your decision

ifthe chargerwas put on 30K ago, put an extra grand in the price of the cobra as your head unitwill probably need a rebuild sometime in the oh-so-close future. Your also betting on a car someone modified for speed, so its probably used to some hard shifts and hammering...but that comes with modified car. As for the Gt, it has some goodies, but your biggest problem is in the engine. Personally i would take the cobra, but if reliability was more important i would rather bet my money on the GT.

yeah if money is a big issue then go with the GT but if its not that big of a deal get the cobra.

well, i need a reliable car, b/c i'll be driving about 50 miles daily, how is the maintence on the superchargers with that many miles?, he's running 8lbs pullies, and a new king cobra clutch.....
