Default tranny build up

I am currently running a world class t-5 in my car with my 347 stroker, but I know a world class is only rated for like 330 ft/lbs and my car is making well over that. So, before I turn it in to a peice of useless scrap metal I would like to pull it to put a C4 in. But, I need some help. What should I rebuild to handle the high horse and ft/lbs of racing. I plan on pulling my motor and putting in a 408 since this setup is the way I bought the car and I want to make it my own. So, what would be needed to build a bullet proof C4.

I'm glad to see that when you ask something technical on here no one knows since no one on here really knows anything

Anyways, I think most of the knowledge guys on here are 4.6ers.

First of all you crybaby the WC T5 is only rated to handle 300 ft. lbs. not 330, and that's only in the '90+ T5 models. The previous years are only rated to handle 265 ft. lbs. because they have a weaker gear set. Only the Z-spec T5 in the '93 Cobra is rated to handle 330 ft. lbs. stock. It would help to know what you're talking about yourself before you ridicule everyone else on the board, assface.

just what we need on here, another wise @$$ newbie. there are any number of tranny companies that make and sell race built C-4 trannies and parts, such as Dynamic Racing Transmissions 203-315-0138; Art Carr Performance Products @www.artcarr.com; B&M racing trannys, Peformance Automatic transmissions, etc, etc, etc. go google "C-4 racing transmissions" and leave us alone now![:@]

yep, at least that's what my '88 was rated for. they lowered the HP and torque around '92 I believe, but not that much really.
