The speedomiter on my car is off. the guy before me put rims on it and i still have them on coould that be the problem?

as long as the speedo is only off by a few MPH that is probably it, given that the rims that are on it aren't the same size as stock

Does it have gears? You always need to get the speedo recalibrated after a gear install or your speedometer will be off.

mine is off by like 3 mph cuz i went from stock 15s to 18s but its really no big deal

Do you have a tuner? I think you can adjust according to the different sizes.
