Rather off the wall question: I just got the 14" shorty antenna from American Muscle and none of the "adapters" will fit my antenna mount; either too large in diameter or too small. 04GT. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

The OEM Ford "oval" base fixed antenna has been the same for a very long time, are you have an OEM antenna base?

 

i have an 06 and im pretty sure the antenna base is the same. i ordered the same antenna as you and one of the adapters fit mine perfectly. mabye you dropped one. call them and make sure you have all the right parts.

Yep - the antenna is stock. I called American Muscle and they are sending me a new kit. Thanks for the suggestions.
