5 lug axle question
I just bought a 89 LX, the car has been upgraded to 5 lug and has17" wheels from later model car with 245/45zr17, he said he bought wheels and tires from Roush, take off's about 5-6 yrs ago.
I need to know what rear axle's I have to start getting parts for rear disc brakes andwant to find info on adding a larger OEMbrake setup for the front. I'm not buying a high dollar AM kit, just want to use Ford stuff.
I'm doing a gear upgrade and overhaul therear diff at same time.I've read that c-clip eliminators dont work well with rear disc swap, I plan on a 347 engine, I'm I ok with c-clips on 400hp car?

looks like these are 2004 GT wheels 17 x 8, that may help with that axle question, during certain very slow tight turns the front sound like they rub maybe the fender liner
