Which 351?

RE: Which 351?
I just did a little more research on the ultraflow. I am sorry to say that it never reached beyond the $50,000 in development costs to bring it to life. Only prototypes remain.
You will have to go with ITB's like webber for a good fuel injection system.

RE: Which 351?
Their main problem was that they couldnt tune the computer for it. Because of how poorly it ran it wasnt ever realized.
What I dont understand is...
Why didnt anyone ever use a 96+ computer and harness with either EV1 or EV6 injectors and tune it from there? It would have worked great with just a little custom tuning.

Wait, Holy crap I found it. It never made its way here but its appearantly a success in Australia in 2V and 4V designs.
Here is the company that sells them.

RE: Which 351?
I wouldnt say that, but if all you have to work with is a windsor and dont have the money for a Cleveland build then its a great idea. Honestly the windsor will bolt into many more applications than the Cleveland as well, and I believe the Cleveland itself is physically larger.
Where do you guys think the Boss302 came from?
It really depends on your application and what you are willing to play with. Both blocks are great block and have their pro's and con's.
And as far as I have seen, the windsor is more "Strokable" I have seen a few 427 strokers out there, as far as I know the furthest that I have seen a Cleveland is a 406 or 409, right around in there.
Personally I like Clevors because they can fit in many differnt applications, but when it comes to old school I will stick with the pure deal.

RE: Which 351?
well i was thinking about doing a cleavor. a 347 with maybe some 3v heads. if i wanted to get the most power out of it with some high revs and still be streetable is this the way to go in your opinion?

RE: Which 351?
yo jasper, a 347 wit 3v heads will make some serious power. ur gonna need quite a bit to do it and it is a good bit more expensive than a normal cleveland or windsor. the benefit is though any tranny u that would hook up to ur 302 will hook up to ur clevor.

RE: Which 351?
to the original poster than a cleve would be a great idea, and it will really make so much power. neo said those motors have to rev high, but it depends on what head u get, the 2v aussie heads are great street heads, but any other cleve heads ur gonna need a nasty bottom end to be able to hit 8000 or more rpms to max out the potential of the heads.
