i want to get foglights for my v6 so i can beef up the amount of light the car throws out, and also cuz they look cool i think - anyway, im looking online and stuff and i see foglight kits and foglight 'lights' only -
what is extra in the 'kits'?
and also, what is the normal way to have it wired (like in the gt's where they are standard) .. like where is the button - and does it depend on the other lights?

i remmeber hearing how they only turn on if the brights are on or something wierd like that (or maybe off? i dont remember..)

 

If you get the whole kit it will most likely come with the lights, mounting brackets, and all the wiring that is needed.
The factory fog lights run with the headlights but once you turn on your highbeams(brights) they will shut off.
And by the way, the GT bumpers are a litttle different so you might need to do some slight modifications to your bumper to get it to fit right.

 

IMO i would get sum aftermarket ones go to teh local speed shop and pick sum up for 25 bux i did and i luv of they have a tint of blue and i have them controlled wit a seperate switch so they can be the only lights on or i can have them all on but if you are wondering about the kit if they are take offs then sum will have the wire harness that fat plug thingy like on headlights but if they say lights only then ull jus have to connect + to + and - to - and bam theyll be on

 

i dont think i have a 'local' speed shop..hehe

if the gt's dont fit right what should i do??
