Default Foglights

does anyone know where or if u can buy replacement lenses for the foglights on an 88 GT......the foglights are intact and the bulbs working but both lenses are destroyed do i have to but new foglights or is there somewhere i can get lenses?.....this is my first 5.0 so im new to all this......in case anyone cares my 88 5.0 GT has just over 93,000 miles on it and was purchased from a guy in the neighborhood who has owned it for about 8 years the car is running great and i got a new taillight now all i need is the foglight lenses......the car was only $650 now i know that sounds ridicolous but the car has been running like a dream since i got it and the tranny was rebuilt in december of 03.....heres a pic of my stang also if any1 has any suggestions as what to do with it first please post thanks guys

as far as i know you can only get the complete foglight assembly. try 50resto.com , or if they don't have em', look in mm&ff, i know there's an ad in there with stock fogs. good lookin car man, first thing you have to do is the exhaust , gotta get the 5.0 sound

That was a steal for 650!CONGRATULATIONS!You got very lucky that is in very nice shape for 650.

As far as the lenses you are money and time ahead to hunt the salvage yards.

welcome! boy did you get a good deal! I know I wouldn't have parted with my 88 that cheap, even before I converted it to a full time racer. first thing I'd do is remove the air intake silencer assembly, they're very restrictive. second thing is get a subscription to Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, it the best mag out there for Mustangs and they have some very good technical articles that show you how things are done and what works and what doesn't. third thing, find out when the last tune-up was and do one if it's been awhile, then get a good cat back exhaust system. shorty headers and an off road H-pipe or X-pipe will really add to the sound qualityand performance, but you might not be able to do this is your state has strict emissions inspections, you'll have to keep the pipe and cats. is is an auto or stick shift?

unfortunately it is an auto.....my last car was an 88 4 cylinder stang but that was manual and even tho it was trash lol it was fun as hell to drive.....i live in NY right outside the city in Staten Island....i will find out when a tune up was last done and subscribing sounds like a good idea thanks man.....now both of u say do exhaust is there a certain one u guys recommend? thanks for the help
