Whats the width of a Fox Body rear axle?? I'm lookin at gettin a 93 LX w/ a 4cyl. I am gettin out of Rockcrawling so I have a coupla Ford 8.8 31 spline axles from my Explorer. I'm just wondering if the Explorer 8.8 is the same width as a fox body rear. They LOOK to be close but I wanna be certain b4 I tackle it. thanks for the help.

the explorer axle is 2in wider, it will fit but your wheels will stick out further than your normal 8.8

thanks for the info. I appreciate it. guess I'll have to decide if I want the tires stickin that far out for a little stronger axle
