Default Brakes?

I'm looking to put some new brakes on my 99 cobra and I wanted to know what kind I should get. I dont know muich about brakes but when I drove a 06 bmw x5,i fell in love with the way that car brakes. Im looking for somthing like that. Any ideas?

Unless you are making 400+ to the rear wheels normal brakes from Autozone/Kragen/Pepboys/Dealer will be just fine.

go with some hawk brake pads!! the material is called ferro-carbon thats what im using and i aint getting any brake dust. very happy

We usually wont use anything except raybestos QS ceramic Pads and Raybestos PG+ rotors. The pads are pricey but leave virtually no brake dust on the rims and make little to no noise at all. Cheap rotors are good for nothing more than headaches. I cant remember the last problem we had relating to these pads and rotors, they are excellent!
