Has anyone heard / know of any issues regarding the use of Amsoil 5/30 synthetic motor oil? Thanks

Amsoil is a good synthetic oil for sure. My racing buddy runs it in his race car that runs 8.0's in the 1/4 mile and also in all his personal vehicles too and has never had any problems.

 

you like it? i got some for my next oil change

 

it's been around a long time....I would however get 10w30 and a amsoil filter thier made by hasting and are one of the best on the market

 

Is synthetic really worth the price?

 

yes.....in cold weather it flows much better in cold starts..alil better gas mileage and a tad bit more horsepower and it cut wear down...so the only draw back is $$$......but if you know your going to trade it in soon I wouldn't bother

 

yup, i have seen the inside of thier filter. WAAAAAAAAAy better than ur standard. what do u think about running amsoil 10-30 with sa quart of hy-per lube? motor has 110k on it its SUPER good stuff. i have seen a 1200 hp motor torn down that ran it everything was coated real nice and looked like it just ran 2 minutes ago even tho the oil was drained 2 weeks ago! lol, check it out........... www.hy-perlube.com
