Treatment for bad gas.

RE: Treatment for bad gas.
I rhink you will find that the gas
just smells bad and with a bottle
of injector cleaner you can run it through.
If you can add more Just add premium.
My vettes are sitting with old
gas and they will run fine.
Don't expect that it will run great
but for one tank you can handle it.

Yea gas shouldn't go bad over one winter, at least not bad enough to have to siphon it out. Try addinginjector cleaner, and once the tank is around 1/2 empty you can top it up with fresh premium gas & you should be fine.
Having said that, don't be going racing at the 1/4 mile track with that tank full of winter gas lol

Forget the cleaner and premium.Just add some fresh regular and drive the car.

What if that bad gas had some water in it?? can you say "bye bye motor"!!
Get some treatment called heet, you can get it anywhere for about a dollar. It gets rid of all the moisture in your gas and cleans out your tank, of course add it when you fill your tank up. Its goooooood stuff and is really good for your throttle body and carb. That would be the best way to go.
And chopper if I ever hear a statment like that again from you.......[sm=pcwhack.gif]

lol, well the whole point of storing a car with a full gas tank is to avoid condensation problems in the first place.
And yea, if you did happen to store the car with a 1/2 full tank then I'd be worried about condensation too

The question wasn't about how to get water out of the gas tank,it was about what to do about three month old gasoline.A little water going through thesystem isn't going to hurt anything either.
Again, just fill the tank with new regular gas and be done with it.
