how do you do a S/C setup with a carb?

Use a blow through carb and get a blower setup that's designed for carb applications. Has a bonnet that seals the carb so you get the float bowls pressurized, boost referenced fuel pump etc

Yup, or a tradional roots blower with carbs on top. In my opinion the huge roots blower is a played out and dated set-up. Here is a pic of my buddies 69 Dodge Dart with a blow through, intercooled Procharger.
