go to unlock my car this morning to warm it up to go to work.....f**kin drivers side lock wont unlock......itll turn right, but, wont turn left to unlock........pass side works though. so, NOW i gotta crawl in and out thru the damned passenger side and look like a dumbass !!!! WTF ?? is it the actuator ?? cuz, now, im royally pissed !!!! i pray that nobody messes w/ me at work today.....2 ppl might be goin home early: 1 to the hospital, and 1(me) home permanently for starting a fight...........any help here would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks everybody

the pass side works.....and i can turn it to lock it(to the right-towards the back of the car).....but, not to unlock it on the drivers side

 

but did it freeze last night was it col,d?? if it had any moisture in it and it froze last night, that could be the problem, I don't know the weather in VA right now. Otherwise if it didn't, that's just odd.

 

did you turn it really hard to the left to force it? do you live around ice? can you unlock it form the inside?

What do u mean by "turn" it...isn't it a button?

 

you know how you turn a key once you put it in the lock, it's really complicated for some people....

Try spraying some lock de-icer in there or some WD-40.
You still didn't tell us if it was cold last night though.......
