Whats the main difference between long headers and short headers(perfomance, sound, liability). I have a 2002 gt stock and i want to know that before starting modding my exhaust line.

mine has LONG TUBES, i will never go any other way

 

LT are gonna be more expensive but will be a greater investment. people all the time r switchin from short to long..

long will give u much better perfoamnce gains..as well as a louder/deeper sound

 

^^all of this is true, but to have LT headers you will need a shorty midpipe, and also several LT headers are manual trans. only.....so make sure to look into that before you buy if you have an auto stang

i switched from short to long and they are nice but im going back to short.........but thats because at the end of each header there will be a turbo
