I think that from 79-04 they all are the same springs, except for the 99-04 Cobras which have IRS.

Above statement is correct... call the company to be 100% sure but most are 79-04 except 99+ Cobra's.

I wouldnt use any spring that wasnt specified for my pericular vehicle. Yeah the springs may fit those years but they will not perform the same on all. For example if ordering for a converable there were a different part number for them bacause the converable is about 200lbs heavier. Not only are different year (79-93, 94-98, and 99-04) cars heavier or lighter but the weight ratio might be different. Meaning all these year cars can weight 3400lbs but the weight siting on the front suspension and rear suspension could be different. Making a car with different springs sit lower in the front or rear or not level. If you look at the suspension prices for different years they vary or at least the part no. is different. And with all these different springs they will probably fit different year vehicles and it might even fit different makes as well too. but how these springs perform on a vehicle is different. Most springs dont have an equal rate throughout the whole srping. On most springs, as a spring compresses more and more the rateing of the spring changes (stiffer or softer depending on the purpose). They are called progressive rate springs. And on top of all above, Different ratings for different applications, drag, road race, comfort, ect.....Hope this helps...

some companies might say that they will work with all years but that might just show how much research or technology was put into them.

They will work. Like T3000 said, '79-'04.

I happened to pull out a magazine with Eibach springs and a 79-93 5.0 and a 94-99 4.6L ( there was no 4.6L in 94 but ok) is the same.
But the 79-93 convertible is different and 94-99 convertible is also different from all the above. So there are 3 part numbers for the above, but eibach also have other types of springs for different applications...

thanks for all the posts guys the spring were purchased by someone else so I don't know who manufactured them yet
I am trying to find out.
they are for a 94 though 1.5 inch drop

I was just wondering what other years they would fit because the tires scrub now with out the lowering kit so I am putting them up for sale. I don't need them they are brand new still in the box. but the shipping label is torn off the box so I don't know who shipped them to the guy. they have no lables or anything in or out of the box
