Default Horrible Problem any advice would be great :::::UPDATE::::

Well i was racing another stang at high speeds doin about 130mph on the freeway when i got off my exit my car just starts sputtering extremely, i pulled over, popped the hood and the engine was shaking all over the place, so i drive it home and on the way everytime i would come to a stop id have to put it in nuetrul and rev the engine to keep it running if i didnt it would die, i got home pulled my plugs and the #1 and #2 sparkplugs were burnt and cracked extremly bad so i went to kragen bought 8 new plugs threw them in thinking that was my problem i started her up and sounded the same the problem didnt get any better and i know for a fact them 2 plugs werent giving off a spark but my problem is still here, i dont think its a blown head gasket because theres no water in my oil andits not giving off any smoke what so ever, by the way on the way home my check engine light was flashing if someone can help me out on this that would be great thankyou for your time.

oh yeah the car is a 1998 gt mustang w/ cold air, plenum, pulleys and t/b thanks

sounds like a blown HG. you dont have to have water in the oil for a blown gasket. the last HG i blew, the only part that blew was between the water pocket and the cylinder so all the coolant went into the motor and out the exhaust.....terrible smell.

sounds like the part of the gasket between cylinder 1 and 2 blew out. if thats true, you would not see any coolant in the oil or in the cylinders.

Sorry I don't know what else besides what's been said... but as per the name of the thread I do have advice... don't race if you're not on the track.
